April 1

I know we are all anxious to hear from the group again, but in the meantime, let’s see what’s on their agenda today. The weather looks to be staying clear and warm with temps between the mid-60s and 80s. Sounds great, eh?

The kids will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the morning.

In the afternoon, the group will visit China’s largest existing temple complex, The Temple of Heaven.

The group will leave Beijing this afternoon and fly to Jinan. They now begin their travels through China, returning to Beijing in three weeks. They’ll spend this coming week in Qufu. For two days and nights, the kids will have a chance to stay in the homes of area families. A real taste of Chinese life. Sounds fascinating.

As the group travels from one place to another, you can follow their progress by clicking on the “map” next to the entry in the Itinerary We’ll do our best to determine where they are and provide maps that will bring some perspective to their overall journey.
